Barker turns 11!

 After postponing due to Covid we finally got to have Barker's birthday party.

It was worth the wait!

We rented out Chalk and had the place to ourselves.

This was during winter break, during quarantine and we also lost power right in the middle of dinner.

It was a bit terrifying for the boys as we sat there in pitch black darkness and silence.

Luckily Jake had prepared our home for these situations and had the generators going in no time!

Thank goodness for great Dads-we were able to pass the time with round after round of hangman with a fully lit up and warm home!

We didn't go too far as we were still early on in our coronavirus illness and fatigue set in fairly quickly, but it was still a beautiful and peaceful moment.

on a drive looking for a wintery hiking spot and came across this open clearing off a dirt road.

It was a perfect place to throw some strikes!
