Again, amazing kiddos and coaches. Baseball pulled all of us out of the pandemic funk,

so thankful!

It happened!

Several practices ago, Barker mentioned to his head coach that he would be interested in learning how to pitch (a feat in and of itself, as he's super shy when it comes to speaking up to coaches and teachers -hard to believe, right!?! (I was so proud of him)). A few practices and games went by and then the day came! At this practice Barker was asked to meet with the pitching coach for some one-on-one instruction! His smile (and mine) were so big I think they could see it from China!

The boys had this idea to act out a little skit of going backward and forward in time. They would act like they were the same person doing the same things but with quick flip-flopping of 2 years of time back and forth. Their sitter Emma filmed and put the video together to help their vision come to life!

Since starting over with a new minors baseball team Barker has become interested in pitching...

getting in lots of at home practice and maybe the coaches will ask if he'd like to learn this position

at baseball practice!?!

The sleepover bar was raised after this weekend...fancy milkshakes AND Drew's parents got them to floss-talk about success!!!

New friends

We finally had a playdate with some new friends from school.

King had his pal Drew over and Barker had Ryder over. When they came to drop Ryder off

his little sister Oli decided it looked like too much fun to pass up, so she stayed to play too!

Haircuts

We finally ventured into a salon...Kingston kept cutting his own hair because his was growing

a new dreadlock at a rate of about 1 a day! It was time to get the pros involved!!!

 

Water balloons

Actually they are regular balloons that they decided need to have water in them...

makes for extra BIG water balloons. They had a blast soaking each other with our neighbors Hannah and Elsie!
