Taylor came for a visit!

and even though the forecast was rain...we were blessed with a beautiful Fall day!

So off to Wyeast winery we went for a Bocce Ball

Tournament which had us in fits a laughter and friendly

competition.

Thank you for taking the time to come hang with us Tay,

it was a blast as always!!!

Kingston's Last Soccer game of the Season

They were invited to also wear their Halloween costumes

which made for an extra exciting game.

They played very well with passing and 

scoring and remained undefeated!

Coach passed out medals after the game.

It caught everyone by surprise and the excitement 

was palpable!

So of course we needed a team pic with medals on...

and then a silly one to better define their personalities!

Barker's football season highlights

Niko's Mom had been taking pics all season

long of every player and them sent them to us -

Barker having a blast with his team!

Big win for the Cougs this weekend!

We got to take a trip to Pullman with some of our 

friends in a big van to watch the game. Since GAME DAY

was also in Pullman - it made for a most exciting adventure!

Here is Barker worried about Mia's seat since her seatbelt

wouldn't buckle...he took it upon himself to hold her seat

safely in place during the trip.

After the game, Uncle Matt took Barker down on the field. He

was lucky enough to meet James Williams and snap a photo with him!

James even gave Barker his armband - what an amazing experience!

On top of their after school sports, the boys have also been

going to wrestling practice after school on Wednesdays 

In this video, the coach asked Kingston, his partner Torsen, and another

pair of kiddos to demonstrate their 'statying low with head up'

technique. Kingston was pretty excited to be an example for the group

as the age range is Kindergarten through 4th grade.

Happy Birthday GG Carol!

Great Grandma Carol came for a visit last weekend and we got 

to celebrate her for her _ _th birthday!

Here she is officiating a wild game of twister that 

had all involved in a fit of giggles!

Next was story time with a new 'seek and circle' book

she gifted to us.

And since she prefers cookies and ice cream over cake and ice cream,

we made sure there were several different flavors of both 

for her to indulged in when it came time for the Birthday 

celebrations!

First lunch date with Barker as a 2nd Grader

And it was popcorn day too-yippee!

He had recess on the 'East playground' and there was much

chatter at the lunch table about being able to play a new game.

They started out with soccer, but then a 'recess coordinator' 

(apparently contracted from Portland) showed up and taught them all how to

play SCRAMBLE (second pic). The recess coordinator 

said May Street had contracted with his company to help teach the children and 

staff new games on the playground due to the building of the new

school and much of their playground blocked off as a construction zone.

It was so fun to see all the excitement in their faces

as they learned and played the new game. Barker had an 

absolute blast! I picked a great day to spend with him for lunch-

can't wait to see what they'll teach me next time!!!

Kingston's buddy Bodhi

Comes over lots after school and with us to Barker's 

practices and games sometimes to keep Kingston company.

He has an older sister...but it appears he is in the market for a little brother.

These 2 often get to wrestling and then Bodhi sits on top of Kingston 

like this and teases/tortures him and then they both get into a fit of giggles

and roll around/wrestle some more! It is a hoot to watch!!!

First lunch date with Kingston at May Street!

 After 2 years of joining me to have lunch with Barker

and patiently waiting...Kingston finally got to

show me the ropes of lunching and recessing at 

May Street Elementary!

He was so excited to show me his skills in the Gaga ball pit

and introduce me to all his friends. It was a blast! I'm looking forward to

many more dates with the King!!!

FAMILY in town!!

 Last weekend we had thee BEST time!

Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Marilyn, Uncle Matt, Aunt Lindsey

and cousin Meredith came for a visit!!

 And we got to go to the pumpkin patch!

And play games and snuggle with our favorite people!

We felt pretty special having a huge cheering section

at our soccer and football games - it made us play hard 

and have so much fun.

Thank you for coming to see us, 

we LOVED every minute of it!!!
