Last day of Soccer camp

Technically it was last Friday, but who's counting!?!
Each of the boys' teams performed a song about Soccer-
here they are each standing in front of the rest of the
'campers' - I was too slow on the draw to switch it over to video.
Mom FAIL!

Soccer Camp!

The dudes have soccer camp this week from 10-3 each day, boy do they come home POOPED!
Here they are on the first day awaiting instruction from the head coach. Barker was hesitant
to go because, 'none of my friends are going to be there...'
But after the first day he had so much fun, he couldn't wait to go back!
Kingston knew his best pal Finley would be going, so he had no hesitancy.
And as it turns out, Barker 's best pal Noah came on the second day because he
heard from his older brother that Barker was there on the first day!
Our good buddies Brody, Copeland, and Kellen were also there.
It turned out to be an EPIC camp after all!

Kingston Graduates from Bright Beginnings!

Bright Beginnings class of 2018!
The graduation ceremony was so heartfelt and personalized,
there wasn't  a dry eye in the house!

Here is the class with all of their Teachers.
Shelley-art
Molly-music
Violet-spanish/culture
Scott-Mr. Awesome

The children with their spirit animal masks on, pre-performance.

They sang 5 songs to us in all.
Here are 2 of my favorites.

As a class gift, each student was asked what the most important
thing about Scott was and then it was made into a book.
 Here is Kingston's response.

King and Scott.
Scott has mentioned on many occasions that King reminds
him of himself when he was Kingston's age.
They have so much love for each other!

Last lunch date with Kingston as a Bright Beginnings Kindergartner

Another bittersweet moment. Kingston loves his teacher,
classmates, and this school very much. We all do.
It's hard to think we won't be coming here anymore
once this week is over. Scott and his team are
an amazing group of individuals and we are so lucky
to have had Kingston at this school this year.
The class as a whole loves and respects one
another more so than I've witnessed in any other setting.
It's truly like one big family!
So much love, memories, and experiences we will
cherish from our days at Bright Beginnings.
Thank you, Kingston, for showing me such a
wonderful year of lunch dates as my big BB kindergartener.
I love and cherish you so much.

Last lunch date with Barker as a 1st Grader

Bittersweet moments today.
Someday, that will feel like
it came too soon, he won't want me in a 3-block radius of him
and his friends. But today I reveled in the sweetness
of his innocence, happiness, and love for life. I will soon miss
how every time after lunch and recess is over, he
tugs on me while pleading for me not to go.
'Not yet Mom, don't leave yet, stay a little longer.'
I love and cherish you so much Barker,
thank you for showing me a wonderful year of lunch dates
as my big first grader!
