These two turkeys received direct orders from their Nana to go to the
toy store and pick out ANYTHING, ANYTHING, they wanted.
When I told them they news, Barker started screaming 'Yes, yes, yes,' then
'Kingston, this is when you are supposed to scream and jump up and down!'
Kingston promptly obeyed. Then it turned into fist pumping, dancing and singing.
When we arrived at the store, Barker looked for the biggest, most involved toy he could find.
He actually found two things he wanted and tried to convince Kingston that he
needed to get the other one. Kingston did not fall for it. He originally picked this tiny stuffed
Ninja Turtle (turtle baby-he kept calling it) but then as we were leaving saw
the ball display. He instantly started shrieking and said he wanted the ball instead.
'Pink one Mama.' He directed me.
They were little balls of energy when we go back in the car. As if the
tension of not being able to bounce/play with their new
toys instantly would putting them on the verge of spontaneous
combustion (as seen above). Needless to say, it was a magical day.
All thanks to Nana!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. We love you!
