 Getting Iron Man to smile was one difficult task.

We met up with Quintin (Anakin Skywalker)

Each off in their own imagination water world so deep in thought.

I am SO curious as to what is going on in each of those 

little noggins. Possibilities are endless!

these two nuts still had a blast bouncing off of 

everything in sight.

Rasmussen Farm

Well, it was a soggy adventure, but we wore our puddle 

jumpers and all was well. We were cheesy in the 

corn maze while eating popcorn.

but did the trick of pumping us up for this year!

Kauai Recap

We woke up to this each morning!

(How'd we get so lucky)?

90% of our time was spent at the beach...good thing there 

were endless options!

Walking around we did see some unique things.

(Dragon fruit, HUGE slugs, and strange nut/seed droppings from trees).

  

 We also saw a gigantic sea turtle!

Only an arms length away!

And this creature...boys wanted to take it home!

Daddy & Mommy had a few date nights.

Such a romantic atmosphere.

We put a couple of hikes under our belt.

Such incredible views, and the waterfall is the one 

in Jurassic Park!

We also took some time to be goofy.

We climbed any/everything in site.

We posed like hams for endless photos.

We made sure not to over-do it and took full advantage

of multiple-mid-day naps!

And when it was time to go...a protest...accompanied by an extremely 

effective stink eye. 

So many amazing memories made. We were able to share them with 

Tim, Bridget, & God-son Eason. Thank you guys for an incredible 

vacation!

Blending in like a local

Well. Almost. Collected a nice tan, local beads, and local way of life (swim, sun, swim, repeat). Yep, we could do this forever!

The rip-tide on these waves was scary. The nervous hike in and exhausting hike out was definitely worth it though!

Livin' is easy

These 2 polywogs are right at home here in Kauai!  

Hawaii is tiring

(Mid-day 4 hours naps are a must).
