It's not what it looks like
"I was only trying to perfect my 'yogurt full-body-wrap & facial'
while eating dinner. Killing two birds. No big D."

Little brother feeding big brother
Kingston sharing his apple with Barker.
"Ok, I said one bite ya hog."
Two can play at this game.
(These 2 are entertaining from sun-up till sun-down).

These 2 boys=black bath water
Between Kingston's oatmeal facials & manicures...
And Barker's "sand-angels," there isn't one square inch of clean anywhere
within an 18-mile radius of our home.
(Also pictured here: Rowan, Charlie and Aksel's feet).

Grandpa & Grandma Bolland came for a visit
And brought us some Vandals gear & bam-bams to beat up
on each other with. We had such a great time with you.
Thank you and love you lots!

Early-morning-muddin'
Adam & Emily & Lexi came out for a visit (last weekend)
and the boys wanted to show off their skillz. They got outside so
fast, Kingston was still in his jammies.
As always, we had a great time getting some QT in with them.
And thanks to Adam for capturing the moment here!

Open Gym!
Come early or don't come at all. The lot fills up quick
and it's only open from 9:00am-9:45am.
It's a gymnastics academy and they have everything;
beams, bars, vault, bouncy floor, foam-pit and of
course a 30 foot trampoline.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
It's basically like 'get your kids outta bed and wear 'em
out before they can know what hit 'em.'
(p.s. foam-pits are a black-hole. They warn you to take your keys
and cells phones out of your pocket before entering. Getting an adult sized
body out of one is next to impossible - and a little embarrassing).

First ring pop
I forgot I had these (taken on my phone).
Kingston had his 18 month check-up... with shots :(
last week and both kiddos were so good in the Doctor's office.
They qualified for a good reward.
Barker loves our Doctor so much, he asked her
to check his ears, mouth, etc. too which helped
ease Kingston's mind a bit, I think. (If big bro
can do it, then so can I)!
nummmm, mmmm, nummmm, mmmm, nummmm
This is the sound that comes out of Kingston's mouth
every time he takes a lick. It was hilarious!
The best part was they didn't even want to finish them.
After about 10 minutes they had had their fill
and then threw them away. I was speechless.
(But did tiny back-flips of joy in my head).

Vitamin D
The sun finally came out for a long part of the
day a few days back. The whole family went to a new park
in The Dalles and had a blast.
Even posed with Mom for a few shots - it was a good day
for everyone!

Just cleaning the table for you mom...
with shaving cream!
Actually, it was Mama's idea. We were looking for things to do
being cooped up all day in the house.
It was fun for Barker.
Kingston wouldn't come near it. I even tried to force his
hand in thinking that would help. NOPE.
I got the death look. Won't make that mistake twice.

Cheeto sounded the alarm
you know, his normal bark at even the slightest bird sneeze
outside 17 blocks away. But it meant some dirty, rotten, scum
had possibly breached our perimeter. We had been given a mission
which we graciously accepted. We had to clear the house and make it
safe for mama - search and destroy - from top to bottom.
We're both fairly certain we had cornered any such scum
to the upstairs portion. We proceed with caution, stomping
up the stairs as quietly as possible with our little legs.
It's all clear. We are safe once again. Until Cheeto decides to bark
(at possibly even his own gas) again, that is.
I sure love my boys!
(side note: though the knife looks seemingly VERY real in the
pictures, I assure you it is a toy - very flimsy - not at all as scary
as it looks here. No babies or children were harmed in the blogging of this post).
Ham-shot. Proud and posing after a job well done.

A dry day
We had a break in the weather a few days ago, no water no wind
driving out of the sky - we took full advantage
and tried to be outside as much as we could.
Chalk art - oh how we have missed you.
And we are getting better and better. Kingston has even
developed a taste for it - whilst still being a ham!
(whoop - missed a spot - no patch of concrete
shall be left uncovered).

Feeding yourself
Can be a bit tricky, when you are accustomed to being
fed by someone much more experienced.
It sure is fun though - I'll get the hang of it!
