Happy Halloween!

Lions, Tigers, Crocodiles, & Dragons!
Here we are getting dressed for trick'r'treating downtown.
Here Kingston, let me fix that for you.

Arriving and letting out our first couple of ROARS!
(Kingston hated the hood).

We met up with Quintin before hitting up the town!

We saw our buddy Charlie too!

It was pretty funny, there was music playing from one of
the shops downtown (flickering lights too), Barker
waltzed right up and just started dancing! Soon several other kids did
too...Barker officially started his first dance party! Cross that off the bucket list!
(I think one of the other parents got a video - fingers crossed)!

Last stop was at Sheila and Eddie's house for our traditional
picture with a pumpkin-headed Eddie -
he's so silly!

Play-date with our old neighbors

Barker and Ryder (almost exactly 1 year apart).
Big brother Nick in the background.

Barker and Brycen.
We really miss our nightly playtime!

Channeling our Halloween spirit!

Barker & Kingston were happy to be more involved in carving
up the pumpkin this year!
They bellied up to the table and grabbed a tool.

Once we got the top off and pulled out some "guts"
Kingston had fun squishing around the seeds (and tasting them of course)!
Barker, on the other hand, looked inside...poked around a little...

 ...and then gagged!
Guess he has his Daddy's stomach!

 Tada!
Thank you Auntie Marilyn for giving us this gem
that you grew in your garden!
We had so much fun carving it up and making memories.
We love and miss you!

Also this last weekend, Uncle B came and stayed the night with
the boys so Daddy & Mommy could go to a Halloween
costume party.
Zombie Bride & Groom, complete with fake blood and
scars! We were pretty excited about how scary we turned out.
(Don't worry, we put the little ones to bed before getting into character).

Posing for the camera

Kingston 14 months
Barker 34 months
I should have purchased a lotto ticket today, I can't believe how lucky I was
to get them both looking at the camera and not frowning!

I see you baby...

...eyein' my tasty foodies. Let me be perfectly clear,
nobody better lay a finger on food that belongs to Kinger!

Funny dudes

Kingston tasting bark chips and rocks at the playground -
he hasn't found one that he likes yet, but is determined
to try them all.
(It's funny because he knows he shouldn't be doing it,
even says "no, no, no" to himself (or to tell on himself), as he
inserts object after object into his pie-hole)!

Barker keepin' it cool in the tub!

The long way home

We were out as soon as the car started...

But one of us had to stay up and keep the driver and co-pilot in line.
I drew the short straw.
(Thanks Uncle Adam for capturing the moment)!

A real 4-wheeler!

Uncle Matt took us for a ride on a REAL 4-wheeler this weekend
at Grandma & Grandpa's! It was SO cool.
Thank you Uncle Matt, we love you!

Looking back

I found this video of the beginnings of Kingston becoming mobile.
He used to just spin around, then scoot around backwards!
So cute, I had to share. And, the boys are playing sweetly
which is an added bonus!

More down-right good times in Oklahoma

There were playgrounds with toys we've never seen!

We watched a Coug football game with Eason, all decked out, of course!

We went to a trampoline palace with a foam pit!

Where I befriended Miss Kaylee who showed me the ropes and wore me out!

Then there was the LONG flight home - where we all
turned into zombies and grouches. But it was SO worth it!
Thank you Bridget, Tim, Rebecca & Jared -
we had a spectacular time and can't wait to do it all again!
