Instantly, feeling much older, he tried putting the moves on Gracie.

It's my real First Birthday today,

Here we are, us Bolland boys, taking advantage of the

great weather, practicing our strokes and kicks!

Kingston's First Birthday! (Party)

There were flying-rides (at least for me)...

and cake...

 and cake theives...

 and balloons...

 but best of all was the balloon IN the cake!

Here's a shot of the action... it was hard for me to get 

excited with all those eyes on me...I had a case of stage-fright!

Tub time

Sometimes we get in just to play...

because water wrestling is AWESOME!

And Kingston is pretty darn good at pinning big bro!

First Tooth!

This was a long time coming...Kingston is 

almost 1, after all!

And we still haven't gotten a good shot of it!

It finally broke through a few days ago, but his gums

are so swollen, it's hard to make it out...

It's the bottom right, mostly it's just obvious by how red it is...

poor Kingston.

He doesn't seem to mind too much when distracted with nice,

cold and yummy yogurt!

as patiently as possible for the bath to hurry and fill.

Good thing they have each other to lean on during this 

agonizingly long moment.

A trip to the zoo

A first for both boys. We had a great time and were able to 

see most of the animals as we made our rounds. 

This sweet little giraffe had something special about him though...

We stayed and watched him the longest of any of the others.

Apparently the other giraffes felt the same "special" energy

exuding from this one, because two others came out to join in

on the "giraffe-watching" festivities!

They were watching him as if they had never seen a giraffe before!

Maybe it was all just the way he was eating...
